Flame Buster®Intumescent Silicone
This expanding, neutral cure intumescent sealant is designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke & toxic gases. When exposed to temperatures above 300˚F, it expands to fill the voids left by collapsed materials.
FBC ™ System Compatible indicates that this product has been tested and is monitored on an ongoing basis, to assure its chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold ®, BlazeMaster ® and Corzan ® piping systems and products made with TempRite ® Technology. For use on: PVC and other plastic through-penetrations

- Expands to 6 times original volume (at 662°F)
Performance
Including 3/8” vertical wall joint and an open 4” diameter through penetration resembling UL 2079 and UL 1479 assemblies respectively. Meets performance requirements of ASTM E-814 (UL1479), ASTM E-84 (UL 723), UBC7-5. This sealant was tested according to ASTM E90 to verify no performance loss for an STC 57 wall partition bearing multiple firestop systems.
